What's new

Every feature, improvement, and fix — newest first. Last updated July 31, 2026.

  1. Fixed

Long prompts were cut off — you can read to the end now

Expanding a prompt only ever revealed the first 4000 pixels of it. Most prompts are shorter than that, so nothing looked wrong — but the longest ones, the Pulse Clip Finder system prompt especially, had their ending quietly clipped, with no scrollbar and no hint that more existed. Copy always took the full text, so anyone who tapped Copy got everything; anyone who read down the page did not. Expanding now shows the whole prompt.

  2. Improved

Prompts are numbered, in order, and searchable on their own

Each prompt now carries its step number as real data instead of it being buried in the title, so an episode always lists its prompts in the order the tutorial uses them. Search returns individual prompts too, not just the episode they live in, and clicking one jumps straight to it. On an episode page the prompts also take the wider column now — they are the reason you are on the page.

  3. Improved

A steadier look, and everything is keyboard-reachable

The site had drifted into 29 slightly different greys and 14 text sizes, which is why it never quite felt settled — cards and panels now draw from one small set of shared values instead. The purple glows and the purple-to-pink gradient are gone, buttons all press by the same amount, and the hero logo stops pulsing once it has finished drawing. Every button and link also shows a clear outline when you tab to it, which previously only a handful did.

  4. New

Episode 10 — Commentary CTA shorts, Part 2 (premiere)

Part 2 of the Commentary CTA shorts workflow is up. The episode page is open now so you can read along and find Part 1; the video is a scheduled premiere, so the player counts down and starts playing right here the moment it goes live — no refresh needed. New to this one? Watch Part 1 first, it’s Episode 9.

  5. New

    Bottom tab bar on phones

On mobile, the Library and Updates pages were hiding behind tiny unlabeled icons. Members now get a proper app-style tab bar at the bottom of the screen — Tutorials, Library, and Updates, one tap away — with a Courses tab teasing what’s next.

  6. Improved

Cleaner look and a smoother mobile app

A visual tune-up across the site: the heavy glow backdrop is gone, so scrolling on phones is noticeably smoother (especially in the installed app). The top bar no longer crowds on small screens, the Library tabs fit on one line, and filters, search, and dropdowns all line up at the same height.

  7. New

Search the Library and the tutorials

Both main pages now have a search box. On the home page it matches episode titles, tags, and even the text of the prompts inside each episode — so searching a phrase you remember from a prompt finds the right tutorial. In the Library it searches sounds and overlays by name, description, and topic, and works together with the topic chips.

  8. New

195 real sound effects — memes, whooshes, cinematic, foley

The placeholder sounds are gone too. In their place: meme sounds (vine boom, bruh, rizz), reactions, whooshes and risers, a full cinematic documentary pack (braams, hits, paper, typewriter), UI dings and camera shutters, punches, and real-world foley — 195 sounds across 7 topics, every one previewable and downloadable, with Download all zips per topic.

  9. New

Download a whole overlay topic at once

The Overlays tab now has a Download all button: pick a topic (say, Arrows & Callouts) and grab every file in it as one zip that unpacks into its own folder. On the All filter it bundles the entire library, organized into a folder per topic.

  10. New

112 real overlays — memes, troll pack, emoji, green screens

The placeholder overlays are gone. In their place: a full drop of meme reactions, the troll face and skull pack, animated emoji stickers, green-screen subscribe/like/share buttons, and red arrow & circle callouts. Everything is downloadable, GIFs and videos included.

  11. New

Optional unlocks — Pro sounds & overlays

The Creator Library now has a Pro tier (a cinematic trailer hit and a prism light leak). Unlocking is completely optional and opt-in: tap Unlock, watch a short ad, and it stays unlocked. Ads never play on their own — only when you choose to unlock.

  12. New

Creator Library: sound effects & overlays

A new Library page with drop-in sound effects (whooshes, impacts, risers) and video overlays (film grain, light leaks, letterbox). Preview any sound inline, then download the ones you want. Find it in the top bar or on your home page.

  13. Fixed

Notify & install sheets no longer float too high

The pop-up sheets for notifications and app install now sit flush against the bottom of the screen on every device.

  14. New

    Install Echomap as an app

Echomap is now a PWA — add it to your home screen or desktop and it opens like a native app, full-screen and offline-aware. Look for the Install button in the top bar.

  15. New

    Get notified about new videos

Opt in to a notification when a new tutorial drops, so you never miss an episode or its prompts.

  16. Improved

Stay signed in for 30 days

Log in with Discord once and your session now lasts a month instead of a week.

  17. Improved

    The app updates itself

When a new version ships, the installed app refreshes automatically — no reinstalling to get the latest fixes.

  18. Fixed

    Broken episode thumbnails

Some episode cover images were failing to load. They now serve reliably.

  19. New

Episode: Commentary CTA shorts (part 2)

Added the follow-up commentary CTA episode with its full prompt set and model-script pack.

  20. New

Four more episodes with full prompt sets

Added Pulse Clip Finder, the 3D Animation system, Coffin Commentary CTA, and Talking Sad Organs — each with copy-ready prompts and downloadable references.

  21. Improved

    Per-episode download packs

Every episode now gathers its reference files — scripts, images, packs — into one clearly marked "download these first" card, so nothing gets missed.

  22. Improved

    Redesigned watch-and-copy layout

The episode page was rebuilt into a two-pane layout: watch on one side, copy the exact prompts on the other.

  23. Improved

    Premium visual overhaul

A new display typeface, ambient depth, an animated hero, and browse-by-niche and browse-by-tool filters — the whole site got a polish pass.

  24. New

Browse prompts by niche and tool

Every prompt is now tagged by video style (Animation, Rankings, Commentary…) and by the AI tool it targets (Claude, VEO, ElevenLabs…), so you can filter to exactly what you need.

  25. New

    Members-only prompt library

Echomap launched: sign in with Discord as a verified server member to copy the exact prompts from every tutorial, with a live strip of the latest videos.
